Perkins A Green Buried Here
Funeral services for Perkins A Green was held at the home of his step-son, Frank O Hill, Spring St, Wednesday afternoon… Burial was in the family lot in the East Main Street cemetery. Mr Green was 79 years of age and his death came very suddenly at his late home on Union street, Morrisville, Sunday morning… Perkins A Green was the son of Mr and Mrs Sullivan Green. He was born at Newport, August 27, 1943, his parents then residing at Farrants Point. Several years following they lived at Barnston, P Q and later moved back to Newport. He was twice married, the first wife was Alice A Hill of Zumbrota, Minn. The wedding taking place at Newport, Nov 2, 1863, her death occurred Aug 1, 1913. His second marriage was eight years ago to Mrs Keziah Paul of Morrisville, where he has since resided, her death having occurred last January.
Prior to his second marriage he had been a resident of Newport being a successful farmer. About fourteen years ago he retired from active live and moved to 49 Bay St where he resided six year.
The only near relatives to mount his death are two daughters, Mrs Claude Patton of Tomifobia, P Q, Mrs Etta Heath of Manchester N H, and son Frank O Hill of Newport…
