Vickie Kay McSwain Parks Waddell, 62, of Cowpens, SC died Friday, July 15, 2016 at her home. Born April 1, 1954 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Lakey and Betty Goode McSwain.

Vickie was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Shawna Jones of Pacolet, SC; granddaughter, Lindsey Reissener of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, Brandon Brandt of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Carolyn Cartee of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Terrell McSwain of Spartanburg, SC; an aunt, Eula Stone of the home. She was predeceased by daughter, Tonya Brandt; son, Michael Parks; sister, Pam Hensley; and brother, Billy McSwain.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Grady Gregory. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lupus Foundation of America, 2000 L Street N.W., Suite 410, Washington, DC 20036.

The family will be at the home of Shawna Jones.
