Artmas Lee "Butch" Miller 70, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM EST at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jean Keel and Rev. Tim Harris officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Butch was born May 23, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Amos Edward Miller and Bertha Fields Miller. He was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson HIgh School Class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era as a helicopter crew chief, and retired from GM as an automobile technician.

Surviving were his wife, Shelia L. Burdette Miller; son, Scott E. Miller of Columbus, Georgia; daughter, Stacy R. Miller of Birmingham, Alabama; grandson, Christian L. Miller of Columbus, Georgia; brother, Austin Miller and sisters, Bonnie Mooney and Nellie Harper, all of Charleston, West Virginia; and niece, Denise Tucker of Dunbar, West Virginia.
