John Clinton Bankston was one of two teens killed when the bus they were on was swept into the Guadalupe in the 1987 Guadalupe River flood. John's body was never recovered, but he is honored at the Bristol Cemetery as well as Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas.
