COLONA, Ill. - Cindy L. Etheridge, 40, of Colona, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at her home. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Services will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, Ill. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to-12 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley TWP Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Memorials fund will be established
Cindy was born April 12, 1964, in Moline, the daughter of Dean and JoAnne (Mock) Baker. She married Charles R. Etheridge on Dec. 22, 1995, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a homemaker, and she loved to travel, especially to Alabama, and loved NASCAR racing, "especially no. 3".
Survivors include her loving husband of 18 years, Charles; daughter, Melissa Lawson, of Colona; son, Charles Etheridge II, of Des Moines; grandchildren, Ashley Etheridge. of Swedona, Ill., Audrey Palmer, of Swedona, and Charles Etheridge III, of Rock Island; sister, Midge Cantrell, of Des Moines; brother, Gary Baker, of Rock Island, and Tom Mitchell, of Davenport; special nephew, Micheal Baker, of Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, and grandparents.
