Founding Pastor of St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Los Angeles, California, where he served for 20 years, from 1943 until his death in 1963, age 61. Rev. Father William T. O'Shea served the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in San Diego, Santa Monica, and at St. Philip's Church in Pasadena before starting St. Timothy's on Pico Blvd. in West Los Angeles, where he oversaw construction of the church, rectory, school and auditorium. From his obituary, Los Angeles Times, Sept. 24, 1963:

"O'SHEA, William T., pastor of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, son of Julia O'Shea, brother of Brigid and Lawrence O'Shea of Clonakilty, Ireland."
