Daniel Wayne Chapman, 63, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, in Glen Rose from an extended illness battling multiple system atrophy. Memorial service: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Glen Rose. Visitation: 1 p.m. to service time Tuesday in the church fellowship hall. Memorials: First Baptist Church, Glen Rose. Daniel was born April 15, 1952, in Dallas to Lloyd and Frances Stanley Chapman. He married Nancy Jean McKee on Jan. 25, 1975, in Lancaster. Daniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Glen Rose. Daniel loved fast cars and playing poker. He loved music, playing the sax and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles and Douglas Chapman. Survivors: Wife, Nancy Chapman; sons, Daniel and Valishia Chapman and Scott and Meghann Chapman; grandchildren, Blake and Vann Savage, Olivia, Cora Marianne, Luther and Lawrence Chapman; brothers and sisters, Denise Gibson, David and Cindy Chapman, Chris Haigood and Troy Haigood.
