Marie Ann Morrison, 65, of Mancelona, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. She was born on May 19, 1951 to the late William and Arline (Prentice) Hinds.
Marie married David Morrison on March 29, 1969 in Kalkaska. She earned her associate degree and served with David in the ministry. Together they raised 5 wonderful children. Marie also enjoyed painting and baking.
Surviving Marie are her children, Anthony Lee (Sarah) Morrison of Gladstone, David Wayne (Fannie) Morrison, Jr. of Mancelona, Scott Matthew Morrison of Florida, Leah Marie (Robert) Rupnow of Gaylord and Courtney Ann (Jordan) Trudell of Gladstone; 14 cherished grandchildren; siblings, Marlene Blosser of Big Rapids, Joanne Adams of Rapid City, Helen Hoag of MI.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband David in December of 2014.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 8th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Coldsprings Christian Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Jim Morrison officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
