Roosevelt ""Tom"" Johnson
FULTON-Roosevelt "Tom" Johnson passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at his residence. He was born April 22, 1950, to the late T.C. and Minnie Johnson. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, T.C. Johnson, mother, Minnie Johnson, two brothers Daniel Johnson, and Elmer Johnson and a sister Calender Fay Ledbetter.

Visitation will be on today from 2 until 4 p.m. and family hours 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Straight Gate Holiness Church in Nettleton,with Bishop James Mabry officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Shannon. Fields Funeral Home of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Johnson of Wren, Mississippi; six children, Dexter Gamble of Shannon, Fredrick Key of Cleveland, Ohio, LaRondia Kelly (Lawrence) of Clinton, Andrea Johnson of Wren, Cedric Key of Aberdeen, and Tonya Ware of Southaven; ten siblings, Willie T Johnson (Margaret), Ethel Johnson, Cercella McPherson, Norris Doss, Steve Johnson all of Shannon, Nyoka Brandon (Willie), Ruby Finnie, Sheneater Bogan (Randy) all of Nettleton, Shellie Burks (John) of Tupelo, and Mois Johnson of Decatur, Illinois; six grandchildren, Kedrick Hall, Shakiya Townsend, Toni Bell, Madison Key, Kaleb Key, Tyce Key, and a host of relatives.
