James Darren Murray of Corsicana passed away at Navarro Regional Hospital on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the age of 48. He was born in Dallas, TX on August 12, 1967 to James R. Murray and Velma Jo Wilson Murray. He worked for the Texas Youth Commission for 6 years until 1994 when the joined the Navarro County Sheriffs Department where he had been for 22 years. James was a avid outdoors man finding time to hunt and fish and rides ATV's. He also enjoyed farming and ranching with this dad, taking care of the land. He married Amy Smith on July 23, 2005 in Corsicana.
He is preceded in death by his mother Jo Murray. Brothers; Billy Taylor, Benny Taylor and Rick Taylor. Nephew David Taylor and son Austin Tyler
