Betty was born on January 6, 1928 in Bozoo, WVa. the daughter of the late Lee H. "Teb" Allen and the late Lura Wills Allen. She married to Ita Cunningham Mutter, who preceded her in death on April 24, 2016. She passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Country View Assisted Living in Peterson. WVa.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: John "Harry", Clifton, Timmy, Eugene and Woodrow Allen; Rena A. Humphrey, Geraldine A. Shires, and Thelma A. Pennington.
She, along with Ira, owned and operated Mutts Furniture in Rich Creek and Oakwood Auction in Oakwood, Va.
