A former Franklin resident, Mr. Carroll Meredith “CD” Dinwiddie, 80, of Mooresville, Ind., passed away July 14, 2016. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home, where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Willie Ozell Russell Dinwiddie, and his wife, Evelyn Draper Dinwiddie. He is survived by his son, Scott (Kim) Dinwiddie, and granddaughter, Jordyn of Mooresville; daughter, Kelly (Tony) Dinwiddie McClean of Beaver, Pa.; and his sister, Betty Dinwiddie (Terry) Adamson of Washington, Utah. He was retired as a stock clerk of 35 years at USAirways. Mr. Dinwiddie was a veteran of the U.S. Air National Guard and was an avid golfer and Indiana University basketball fan.
