COTTONDALE | Shelia Davis, age 50, of Cottondale, died July 14, 2016. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Josh Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel funeral home directing. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lavon Thames; and her brother, Randy Thames.
Survivors include her husband, David Davis; daughters, Christy McCullough, Ashley Thames Greek, Shelby Davis, Amanda Leonard and Brittany Campbell; sons, Bradley Davis, Kyle Aycock, Bradley Barner and Chris Davis; sister, Michelle Thames Allred; brothers, Gerald Thames and Troy Thames; parent, Christine Thames; and eleven grandchildren.
Shelia was a devoted wife and mother to many, her grandchildren were her world. Her laughter never went unrecognized, and her smile could light any room. She loved unconditionally, and greeted everyone with open arms. She is loved and missed by many. Psalm 147:3.
