In 1914, at the age of 19, she married Perry Stokes, a Canadian.
They lived in Saskatchewan where they had two children: Elmer and Emma. After her husband died in 1964, Alice moved back to the USA and settled in the San Diego area close to her siblings.
In 1969, her daughter Emma and son-in-law Harry Cull moved to San Diego to live closer to Alice.
Alice's son Elmer died in 1985, and she herself died in San Diego in 1993 and was buried in San Diego alongside her siblings.
