Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at St. John Baptist Church, with the Reverend Riley Hood officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
She was born on April 24, 1963, in Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Midland High School in 1981. She was a homemaker, and a member of Ash Street Baptist Church.
Deborah was predeceased by a son, Tamodrius Neal in 1994.
Survivors include her husband, Wayman Washington of Abilene; two sons, Javorea Preston and LaDeamein Washington both of Abilene; four daughters, LaKisha Preston, DeJanique Preston and Tiana Jackson all of Abilene, and Quinisha Neal of Jacksonville, Florida; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Grace Davis of Abilene; brothers, Miguel Hines of Midland, and Michael Preston of Abilene; sisters, Phyllis Hood, Pheneria Preston, and Merry Preston all of Abilene; and several nieces and nephews.
