Candace Elizabeth White, 38 of Queen City passed away Wednesday (July 13 2016) at Samaritan Hospital in Macon, MO.

The daughter of David Lee and Ruth Marie (Meeker) White, she was born March 31, 1978 in Brookfield, MO.

Candace grew up in the Kirksville area and graduated from the Kirksville High School in 1996. She worked as the school nurse for the Schuyler County Schools for the last eleven years.

She enjoyed her kids, swimming, concerts and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and cared very much for the students at her school. She was very caring and loving, always there for everybody, and always put others before herself. She was of the Baptist faith and had a strong faith in God.

Candace is survived by her children, Brooke Whittom, Blake Whittom and Baylon Tague all of Queen City, MO; her mother and step father, Ruth and David Cunningham of Greentop, MO; one brother, Chris Cunningham and wife Stephanie of Greentop, MO; one sister, Cathy Easley and husband Clint of LaPlata, MO; nieces and nephews, Heather Kirkpatrick and her children, Dallas and Kandon; Tyson (Kim) Kirkpatrick and their children, Keyton and Emmett; Holly Kirkpatrick, Alicia Demory and her children, Gage, Lainey and Shayna; Monica Woods, Grant Woods, Denver Cunningham and Dayton Cunningham and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, David L. White; one sister, Connie White and her grandparents.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday (July 19, 2016) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Pastor John Howell officiating. Burial will be Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Joe Ralston, Scott Wieburg, John Dromey, Randy Stewart, Boe Payton, and Cody Blackford. Honorary bearers will be Grant Woods and Travis VanWye.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the
