Annette Chaves died on July 12, 2016 at the age of 79. She was born on November 2, 1936 in Hilo, Hi. She is survived by her five children Wanda Ranger, Steven Ordonia, Tracy Ordonia Dieckman, Andy Ordonia, and Leilani Waller. She is also survived by her sister Sylvia Young and Joe Chaves. She was born into a sibling group of 12 children and raised in the Hawaiian Islands. She met and married Ambrose Ordonia who is deceased Vietnam veteran. Annette raised four children as a single parent following the Vietnam war until she met and married Sam White and had Leilani Waller. Annette and Sam separated and remained friends until her passing. Annette enjoyed gardening, reading, and being with her family. She was also an avid painter and appreciated the arts. She worked as an accounts payable employee for several years. Annette had a very generous personality and enjoyed giving the best, and only, of what she had to her friends, family, and charity.
