Opal Mae Wood, 86, formerly of Filbern Manor, West Newton, died Saturday, March 15, 2003, in Mercy Jeannette Hospital. She was born April 26, 1916, in Carroll Twp., Washington Co., PA, a daughter of the late Winfield and Della Mae Buxton Clark. She is survived by three sons, David Wood and his wife, Beverly, of West Newton, Delbert Wood and his wife, Wilma, of Nashville, TN, and William Wood of CO; five grandchildren, Steven Wood and his wife, Tracy, of Youngwood, Vicki Jennine Wood of Nashville, TN, Sheila Denise Justice of Greenville, NC, and Tracy and Heather Wood, both of CO Springs, CO; and six great-grandchildren. Service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Carroll Twp., with the Rev. John Duvall officiating. Arrangements by the RICHARD F. DODSON FUNERAL home, West Newton.
