He was born on September 18, 1924 in Slinger to Emil and Esther (nee Faber) Becker. Fritz was united in marriage to Theresa Hahn on April 16, 1955 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Slinger, WI.
Fritz worked at Tews Gravel Pit in Colgate for 45 years as a loader operator. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 139 for over 60 years.
After working all day, Fritz came home to his true love of working the land and taking care of his beef cattle, ducks, geese and chickens. Every year he enjoyed planting and harvesting his gardens. Fritz’s motto was, “You gotta love the land, and you gotta love the animals.” He was a very proud man who never said much, but we knew he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Theresa, his children, Ginny (Dan) Allar of Hartford, Patsy (Jim) Lulich of Hartford, Marlene (Thomas) Rohlinger of Kewaskum, Diane (Kyle) Hawthorne of Kewaskum, and Gene (Nancy) Becker of Hartford; grandchildren, Sheila (Jim) Trost, Sharon (Justin) Ziebell, Mike Allar, Melissa Allar, Steven (Dana) Allar, Mitch (Fiancé Kayla) Allar, Jenna Lulich, Alissa (special friend Jake) Lulich, Jessica Daniel, Craig Renzaglia, Scotti Marie Mitchell, Shelby Grimes, Cody Grimes, Paige (Ryan) Schmitt, and Erik (special friend Melissa) Becker. He is further survived by 19 great-grandchildren, his brother John Becker and sister-in-law Bernie Becker and brother-in-law LaVerne Guetzke, as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
