Funeral services for Martha Lucille Chapman, 92 of Tyler, will be 10am Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin West officiating.

Mrs. Chapman was born January 28, 1924 in Wellsboro, PA to Thomas and Ella Cooper and passed away July 13, 2016 in Tyler.

Formerly of Colleyville, Mrs. Chapman lived in Tyler 25 years. She was a member of Fairwood United Methodist Church and worked in a defense plant during WWII.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years Ed Chapman; children: Gary Chapman and wife Lois of Garland, Nancy Chapman of Dallas and Pat Stovall and husband Charles of Tyler; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sisters: Jeanne Baier of Elmira, NY and Clea Allen of Los Angeles, CA.; sister-in-law Mary Cooper of Wellsboro, PA; daughter-in-law Beverly Chapman of Coleman, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by parents; brother Clayton Cooper; and son Larry Chapman.
