Jerry served in the National Guard for over seven years. He worked at Erwin Mills as a fixer for over thirty eight years. He attended Long Branch Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery by Dr. Elvin Butts and Rev. Brandon Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Jackson, two sons, Terry Jackson of Smithfield, Mark Jackson and wife Liz of Archer Lodge, two grandsons, Justin Jackson and wife Angel, Johnathan Jackson, two great grandchildren, Emerson and Lily Jackson
