She was born November 12, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., to John Fraher and Mary Mooney. She came to San Diego, California in 1942 from Chicago, moved to Whittier in 1953, and has resided in Diamond Bar since 1961. Margaret married Frederick John Savaglio on January 16, 1942.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pomona, and served as a member and a past president of the St. Joseph's Altar Society. She loved to write and had several of her stories published.
Surviving are her sons, Fred Savaglio of Seattle, Gerald (Leila) and Mark Savaglio, both of Diamond Bar, Lawrence (Susan) Savaglio of Mission Viejo, and David Savaglio of Chino; and 11 granddchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, died August 19,1980; two brothers, John and James; and a sister, Mary.
