CRESTLINE: REBECCA "BECKY" (WASHER) GARRETT, age 67, of Crestline, passed away after an extended illness on Wednesday July 13, 2016.
She was born on April 7, 1949 in Bucyrus to Roy and Ann Washer. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline. Becky worked for Crestline Hospital, Sears, Deca and Geauga Plastics.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, traveling with her husband, shopping with her sisters and sharing the family news with everyone.
Becky is survived by her husband, Bill, whom she married October 4, 1969; her children: Kevin (Wendy) Garrett of Willard, Paul (Christy) Garrett of Ansonia, and Jennifer (Tim) Mowry of Crestline; her grandchildren: Nicholas and Nathaniel Garrett, Mitchell and Stefani Garrett, Megan Schneider and Summer Mowry. Also surviving are her siblings: Dwayne (Marie) Washer of Mansfield; Mary Lou (Ron) Raybuck of Mansfield; Kathryn Arnone of Helena, Alabama; Yvonne (Joe) Waring of Westerville; Bonnie (Joe) Pawlowski of Whitehall, Michigan; Joanne (Dave) Irey of Galion; and Rita (Rick) Davis of Bucyrus and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ann Washer and her brother, John Washer.
Friends may call Sunday July 17, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline where a Vigil Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. conducted by Rev. Chris Bohnsack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline,. on Monday July 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Chris Bohnsack, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic School, Crestline in care of the funeral home.
