Perry- Marian Maxine Hatchett Forehand died Monday, July 11, 2016.

Born March 21, 1931, to Johnnie Mack and Berta Mae Watson Hatchett, Maxine worked many years in Peach County as a nurse and in later years at her family's machine shop. She and her late husband were charter members of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Perry. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, an avid gardener, and loved fishing and the ocean. She leaves a legacy of strength and perserverence, with many special memories cherished by family and friends.

Maxine is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Amos A. Forehand, infant daughter, Tonya Rene Forehand, and son, David A. Forehand.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Talton (Seabie), and Lisa Johnson (Kip); grandchildren, Amie Talton Willard (Andrew), Clay Talton (Brittany), Cory Johnson, and Zach Johnson; great grandchildren, Cal Willard (Courtney), Lola Kathleen Talton, and Cohen Talton; great great grandson, Cason Willard; sister, Lillie Hatchett Bowden; brother, John Lynn (Bill) Hatchett; and special friends, Sandra and Jim Sessoms, Vicki Leach, and Bobbi Richardson.

Maxine wished to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations to your favorite charity, or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088; or Special Olympics Georgia, in support of Down Syndrome, 4000 DeKalb Technology Pkwy., Ste. 400, Bldg. 400, Atlanta, GA 30340.
