Stella J. (Nider) Fisher, 88, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Somerset, went to be with her Savior and Lord on Feb. 23, 2016, while at Joanne's Hospice House, Bonita Springs, Florida. She was born on May 14, 1927, in Garrett, daughter of Vaszily and Katharina (Minko) Najda. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vernon Fisher; her brothers Nick, Wasco, Andy, Mike ;and her sisters Mary (Nider) Philip, Anna (Nider) Karas, Katherine (Nider) Ralston and Martha (Nider) Nedrow. She is survived by one sister Roseann (Nider) Custer of BelAir, Maryland. She is also survived by her true and loyal friend of 49 years, Judith A. (Boyer)(Zeigler) Rosser and husband Richard of Fort Myers. Her other trio of loyal friends consisted of Debbie Dellinger-Crep (Tom), Janet Ingham (John) and Tracy House all of Fort Myers. She is also survived by numerous and loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, friends and relatives. Stella was a former hairdresser at Trimpey's Beauty Salon and Fisher's Beauty Salon, all of Somerset. She also served as hostess at Oakhurst Tea Room of Somerset. She was a sales associate in the membership department at AAA Auto Club for 25 years in Fort Myers. She was an active member of the Hope Hospice Parkinson's Program in Fort Myers. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. There will be a memorial service and internment at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at St. Peter & Paul's Goodtown Cemetery, Pine Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made in her name at Hope Hospice Parkinson's Program, 9470 Healthpark Cir, FL 33908 or on their website: Donate.HopeHCS.org with a notation for Stella in the Parkinson's Program.
