Christopher Robert Rodgers, age 34, of Macclenny, Florida passed away at his residence July 10, 2016. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida on September 26, 1981. Christopher attended Baker County High School and has been a resident of Macclenny most of his life. He was employed at White Stone Construction but when he wasn’t working he was a real outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was also an accomplished athlete and an avid Florida Gator fan. More than anything Christopher was a loving father and family man.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Carrie Lauramore; mother, Patricia Crews-Harvey; stepfather, Reece Crews; son, Christopher Rodgers; step son, Austin Winn; sisters, Cayse Thrift, Amber Crews; step brother, Chad Thrift; step-sister, Linda Gibson; maternal grandparents, Papa Joe & Nana Linda Williams; paternal grandparents, Robert & Sylvia Perdue and Roy & Gail Crews; nieces and nephews, Briar & Bailey Baglin, Luke & Jake Gibson, Ravynne Combs; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; mother of child, Julia Moore; God-parents, Kathy & Jim Bodlak.
A Celebration of Christopher’s Life will be held on July 15, 2016 at 2pm at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
