Eleanor "Sue" K. Hudson, 98, of Sebring, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Copeland Oaks. Eleanor was born in Ashtabula on March 12, 1918, the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Oakes) Kneen. She was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, a member of Delta Gamma sorority, and a member of Union Avenue Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Anne E. Newton of Cambridge, Massachusetts; son, Douglas P. (Abigail C.) Newton of Beaufort, South Carolina; daughter, Laurie Newton-King (Kevin King) of Towson, Maryland; stepdaughter, Candace (Jeff) Scharver of Rougemont, North Carolina; stepdaughter Patricia (Joe) Lepak of Jefferson, Maine; six grandchildren, Kyle and Colin King, Chris (Kelly) Scharver, Randi (Phil) Rollinson, Gwendolyn (Mark Breton) Hudson and Adam Lepak; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Alice Kneen, along with nieces and nephews, Tim, Joe, Hal, John, Bob, Sue, Judith, Jeff, and their families. Besides her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver "Tex" G. Hudson, whom she married in 1975 and who died in 2010; brothers, Charles H. and John Kneen; sister-in- law, Betsy Kneen; and nephew, Nick Kneen.

Burial will take place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
