Son of John R. and Mary B. ParsonsRobert B. Parsons, resident of Mountain View, beloved husband of the late Charlotte Olive Parsons. Survived by his sons Gary (Patricia) Parsons, Robert B. Parsons Jr. and Charles Randolph (Christine) Parsons. Grandfather of 5, and great grandfather of 3. A native Californian and Mtn. View resident since 1956. Age 94. Robert was a lifelong employee of Zellerbach Paper Co., a U.S. Army veteran of WWII where he attained the rank of Sergeant Major, and a member of the Mtn. View Senior Center and the SIRS fishing and bowling teams. He was an avid fisherman and he never complained about anything. A memorial service will be held at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 2094 Grant Rd., Mtn. View, on Friday March 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Timothy's.
