He was born on March 15, 1990 in Springdale, Arkansas to Chad and Julie Gordon.
Aaron was a graduate of Jay High School, Class of 2008.
He served three years in the United States Army including one tour in Afghanistan of which he received numerous medals, ribbons and two campaign stars.
Aaron was employed with Delaware County Sheriffs Department for two and a half years.
He enjoyed shooting skeet, mudding, gigging, quail hunting, tinkering on trucks, and loved spending time with his wife, kids, family, and his military family.
Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lt. Col. Jack J. Gordon, and Farrell Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Allie Gordon of Eucha, Oklahoma; children, Brice, Serenity, Trentyn, Blake, and Logan; father and step-mom, Chad (and Tracy) Gordon of Westville, Oklahoma; mother and step-dad, Julie (and Clay) Slaton of Westville, Oklahoma; grandparents, Muriel Gordon of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tom and Pat Brewer of Lowell, Arkansas; Becky Jones of Tontitown, Arkansas; sisters, Alleigh (and her husband, Tyler) Eason of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kyndal Slaton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers, Maverick Slaton of Westville, Oklahoma, Dilon Burns of Westville, Oklahoma, and Jordan Janway of Westville, Oklahoma; numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held 9:00-10:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 at Lawson’s Funeral Home Chapel of Jay, Oklahoma.
Celebration of Aaron’s Life Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Pastor Sam Smith officiating.
Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas with United States Military Honors.
