Following a lingering illness, Mrs. Mary Anderson Bocco, 64, widow of Nelson Bocco well known resident of the First ward, died Sunday morning. Mrs. Bocco was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Anderson, Porter street.
She was educated in the schools of the city and was a graduate of Oswego Normal, class of June 1887. For a number of years she taught in the schools of Long Island. She was a communicant of St. Mary's church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. C.L. Richmond, Hudson, NY and Mrs. Thomas Walpole, Oswego; and two brothers, Andrew O. and Louis Anderson, Oswego and a sister, Mrs. Eugene Geomair of Hammond, Ind.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary P. Bocco, widow of Nelson Bocco was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Walpole, 234 West Fourth street Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church.
Burial was made in St. Peter's cemetery where prayer was offered by the Rev. Edward G. Quaid.
