WOODARD, CARL M., age 85, of Hoover, died November 14, 2004. He was a member of Park Lane Church of Christ. He is survived by his 2 sons, Ronald M. Woodard, wife Louise, and Donald M. Woodard, wife Linda and 2 grandchildren, Matthew Woodard and Lindsay Woodard. Also brothers Franklin Woodard, wife Beatrice and Verlon Woodard, sisters, Jane Lewis, husband James, Jewell Ann Sanders, husband Junior, and Doris McKnight. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Baker Woodard, his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

He was retired after 30 years of service with Winn Dixie in Birmingham, and served 5 years in the Army, South Pacific Region during World War II.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 17, at 1:00 at the New River Church of Christ in Fayette County, with burial in the church cemetery. There will be a visitation for his friends and relatives in Fayette starting at 11:00 at the church. The family will also receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham.
