Monica Ryan Lopez, of Cherry Valley, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Harrisburg, at the age of 42. She was born January 1, 1964 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Steve and Connie (Huskey) Ryan. Monica graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1982; joined the US Navy and she graduated Cum Laude With a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy in 1994 from Arkansas State University. She later returned to Arkansas State University to meet the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Education, Monica taught at Cross County School where she strived to instill a love of learning in her students. She enjoyed pottery, sculpturing and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by Steve and Connie Ryan, her parents; three sons, Tony, Rory and Thad and one daughter, Julia; one brother, Mickey Ryan and her Grandmother, Madge Huskey.
