Mrs. Judy Wilson Dixon, age 57 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016.
Mrs. Dixon was born in Griffin, Georgia on July 13, 1958 to Frank and Emily Howard Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C. (Bill) Dixon; and sister, Susan Anne Wilson. Judy attended kindergarten at First Baptist Church and was educated in the Griffin Spalding County School System. She graduated from Griffin High School in 1976 and attended Gordon College, where she received several associate degrees. She worked at Vernay Manufacturing, had her own tax business and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Davis and husband, Lance; son, Ben Dixon and wife, Tracey; grandchildren, Hope, Dallas and Tanner; father and mother, Frank and Emily Howard Wilson; sister, Beth Wilson Griffin and husband, David; brother, Frank Wilson, Jr. and wife Melissa; sister, Emily Wilson Ebinger and husband, David; stepson, Gary Walker and wife, Holley; mother-in-law, Adelia Boyd Dixon; sister-in-law, Katrina Dixon Benton and husband, Steve; brother-in-law, Boyd Dixon and wife, Sharon; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Judy Wilson Dixon will be on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted in the chapel. Reverend Dan Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please help assist the family with expenses.
