CHESTER B. AHRENHOLTZ
Canton, Mo., July 15.—Funeral services for Cheater B. Ahrenholtz, 44, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 in the Barkley funeral home here. Burial will be in La Belle.
Mr. Ahrenholtz was the husband of the former Miss Margaret Moore, daughter of Mrs. Orville Moore of Canton. He wag county superintendent of schools of Mahaska county, la., at the time of his death, and he and his family lived in Oskaloosa.
Mr. Ahrenholtz died Tuesday night in University hospital at Iowa City. He had been in failing health for about a year. Surviving with the widow are two daughters.

C. B. Ahrenholtz Dies in Iowa City
OSKALOOSA, IA. — Chester P. Ahrenholtz, 44, Mahaska county superintendent of schools, died Tuesday night in University Hospitals, Iowa City, where he had been a patient since June 30.
Services were being planned Wednesday for Canton, Mo., former home of his wife. Two daughters also survive.
Former town superintendent of schools in Casey, Elkhart. New Sharon, Ollie and Blakesburg, Mr. Ahrenholtz was appointed county superintendent last Jan, 1. He is the second Mahaska superintendent to die within a year.
Born in Defiance, he was graduated from Westmar college, Le Mars, obtained his master's degree at Drake University, Des Moines, and had two years of work toward his doctorate at the State University of Iowa.
