Formerly of Kountze, Mr. Arnold had resided in Diboll for 14 years. He was a pipefitter with the Local Union 195 for 40 years. Mr. Arnold loved the outdoors, barbecuing, and girl scout cookies. He liked to buy cookbooks from churches to help them raise money. Mr. Arnold was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Renne Arnold; son, Justin Shane Arnold; stepsons, Jesse Brownlee, R.J. Hewitt, Timothy Hewitt; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and C.W. Loftin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jacob Arnold; and sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Eugene Capps.
