Darryl Grant Wilkins, 68, of Louisville, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at VA Hospital. He was a native of Jefferson County, a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran having served two tours in Vietnam and was a retired Fishery Biologist for U.S. Fish and Wildlife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Van and Catherine Virginia French Wilkins. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Fortin Andersen, two daughters, Patricia Catherine Girard and Kimberly Ann Winkler both of Washington State, two brothers, Stuart Wilkins of Virginia and Charles Bruce Wilkins of Tennessee, one sister, Cheryl Ann Christmas of Oklahoma, two granddaughters and two great grandsons. There will be a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Lincoln officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. at the church.
