Andrew “Andy” Harmon Stover, age 49, of Dixon, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis after a lengthy illness.

Andy was born September 28, 1966, in Columbia, a son to the late Norman H. Stover and Sonya E. (Haack) Stover, who survives in Pueblo, CO.

Andy attended Jefferson City High School. He was employed for many years at Stover Carpet in Jefferson City and Stover Medical Support Services in St. Louis.

Andy was very proud to be an ordained Lutheran minister. He collected old cars and loved music.

Andy was greatly loved and will be missed by all who know him.

In addition to his mother, Andy is survived by: a son, Alexander (Stover) Whalen of Jefferson City; three sisters, Ellen (Stover) Hegdal of Pueblo, CO., Emily (Stover) Hrdina of Pueblo, CO. and Sarah (Stover) Robertson of Madison, AL.; three brothers, Matthew Stover of St. Charles, Aaron Stover of Jefferson City and Daniel Stover of Ashmore, Il., along with many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends, including his two dogs.

In addition to his father, Andy was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Stover.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, for 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morton Chapel in Linn with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.
