Scott Fredric Arnold, born February 1, 1954 in Fort Dodge, Iowa was taken to heaven after a tragic auto accident on June 21, 2016. He resided in Scottsdale, AZ and was the beloved husband of his blue eyed angel Teri, father of Charlice and Briana, stepfather of Eva, Kathleen and Jessica, grandfather of twelve, and great grandfather of five. Scott was a kind, gentle and cheerful family man who touched the hearts of many people in his life. He was the go-to guy because of his skill and knowledge in the fields of solar, air conditioning and plumbing. He carried on in the work tradition/motto of his father "If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over". His expertise was so great that he was sent to Australia and the Philippines multiple times to do work for his company, which they knew he would handle and get it right the first time. Scott was known as the peacekeeper of the family and almost always agreed with you. When he did take a stand it was always on the side of love. His loving and helpful demeanor had no boundaries. Your troubles were his whether you were a new acquaintance, family member, lifelong friend or co-worker. Once he met you, you were his friend and someone you could call on at any time of day or night. He loved music, playing the bass and singing and was a member of many choirs throughout his entire life. Scott was also very passionate about green energy and the environment. He was a good man and will be greatly missed by all of the people whose lives he touched. Please join us to celebrate his life and memories at a memorial service at 10:00 am on July 16, 2016 at Dream City Church Prayer Pavilion, 13613 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85022. His urn will also be placed in the wall of the Prayer Pavilion, at a later date. The family requests that parties with children be seated in the back or along the outside of the aisles. Handicap transportation is available to the Prayer Pavilion. Please arrive 15 minutes early and park in the church's central lot. Flowers that are sent to the church before the service must arrive prior to 9:00 am to be included in the service. Please visit www.shadowmountainmortuary.com to leave online condolences for the family.
