Mr. Johnny Norris, age 56 of Oak Ridge, passed away suddenly from his second Aortic Aneurysm after a lengthy open heart surgery surrounded by the ones who loved him most.

He devoted his life to the care and wellbeing of his family, specifically his specifically his special need son, Kevin.

He was raised in California, moved back to Tennessee and was self-employed in roofing and other construction types. He was an honest business man; no job was too small or too hard. He focused on helping anyone and everyone who needed it. He had a big heart and was easy to be around. He loved rebuilding old muscle cars and tinkering with anything with a motor.

He spent the majority of his later years making quality memories with Kevin and his grandchildren. He was amazing with animals, often referred to as the dog whisperer. He lived life to the fullest often stating that he had no regrets and had fulfilled his bucket list of experiences. He was a wonderful father, son, grandfather, husband, fiancé and friend. There is a void that will never be filled.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Kimberly Norris.

Grandmother: Lola Norris.

Father-in-law: James Bradley.

The family will meet Friday July 8, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jim Duncan and Charles Shepherd officiating.
