Rev. Leslie Edwin Drake was born in Kearney, NE on June 10, 1927 to Eden Kenneth and Gladys Anna (Stake) Drake. He passed from this life to his heavenly home on July 8, 2016 at 89 years. Rev. Leslie Drake served as a United Methodist minister serving many churches in Minnesota and Nebraska. Member of the Civil Air Patrol and Masonic Lodge.

Family members include; children, Cindy L. Drake (Jan Kerr) of Lincoln, Collin L. (Janet A.) Drake of Hartland, VT, Cherie L. (Robert) Stoeckl of St. Louis, MO; daughter in law, Cheryl Drake of Brainerd, MN; step children, Mia (Pat) Tuomala-Aho, Todd (Carolyn) Tuomala, Bruce Tuomala; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, wives, Phyllis LaVone Tautfest and Anne Marie Tuomala, sons, Leslie E. Drake Jr., Criston L. Drake, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday (7-16-16) at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd, MN. Inurnment at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Civil Air Patrol of Minnesota. Cremation/No visitation. Condolences online at Roperandsons.com.
