A member of Manor Evangelical Church who taught oil and china painting in her home studio for the past 20 years, Deloris Elizabeth Taylor died Friday, April 30, 1999, at her home in Vancouver. She was 77.

Born Oct. 31, 1921, in Canova, S.D., Mrs. Taylor moved to Vancouver in 1945, and worked as registered nurse in the delivery room at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and gourmet cooking.

Survivors include two sons, David and Mark, both of Vancouver; one daughter, Linda Cotton of Battle Ground; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Manor Evangelical Church. Viewing will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. A private family graveside service will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1425 N.E. Irving St., Portland, OR 97232.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 1999, in Manor Evangelical Church in Vancouver, Wash., for Deloris Elizabeth Taylor, who died April 30 at age 77.

Mrs. Taylor was born Oct. 31, 1921, in Canova, S.D. Her maiden name was Hause. A registered nurse, she had worked in the delivery room at St. Joseph Hospital in Vancouver for many years. For the past 20 years, she taught oil and china painting in her home studio. She was a member of the church.

Survivors include her sons, David and Mark, both of Vancouver; daughter, Linda Cotton of Battle Ground, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver.
