SHARON LEE STEWART
Sharon Lee Stewart, 72, of Marlette, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in McLaren Regional Hospital, Lapeer. She was born September 11, 1943 in Dyersburg, TN to Estell Ezell Gambell and Kathryn Ruth Hughes. She married Robert David Stewart September 9, 1961 in Almont. He died April 13, 2007.
Sharon was fond of watching television. She absolutely loved her scary movies. She enjoyed going for rides and listening to country music. Most of all Sharon loved spending time with her family. They were her world, especially spending time with her special, sweet daughter, Christal. They had a very special bond.
Sharon is survived by her children: Curtis (Lisa) Stewart of Deford, Robert (Kathy) Stewart of Port Huron, Elizabeth "Sissy” Stewart of Marlette, Christopher (Christine) Stewart of Marlettee, Christal Stewart of Marlette; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cynthia Lynn Stewart; brother, Phillip Clark Gambell; sister, Beverly Ruth Sanday.
A beautiful family service was held at her bedside. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
