Margie Haddix, age 83, of Vicco, Kentucky, died on Saturday, January 1, 2005, at her home.
She is survived by three daughters, Arlene Gibson of Hindman, Kentucky, Elizabeth Seals of Vicco, Kentucky, and Jeanette Compkis (husband, Johnny) of Christopher, Kentucky; two sons, Curt Haddix (wife, Kitty) of Dayton, Ohio and Steven Haddix (wife, Eileen) of Vicco, Kentucky; three sisters, Ruth Rama of Hampton, Virginia, Edith Singleton (husband, Linville) of Stroh, Indiana and Marlene Underwood (husband, Bill) of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother, Harry Reynolds of Louisville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; eighteen greatgrandchildren; and a special friend, Diane Couch.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Janyary 4, at 11:00 a.m., at Engle-Walker Funeral Home, 310 East Main Street, Hazard, Ky., with Jimmy W. Gibson officiating. Burial followed in Haddix Family Cemetery, Kodak, Kentucky, under the direction of Engle-Walker Funeral Home.
