When Anna Maria Perry was born on May 19, 1851, in Princeton, New Jersey, her father, David, was 28 and her mother, Anna, was 26. She had three brothers and two sisters. She married Erastus Murdoch, from Manhattan, who preceded her in death, sometime before 1900. She died on January 7, 1915, in Thompkinsville, Staten Island at SR Smith Infirmary (later Staten Island Hospital), at the age of 63, and was buried in Fairview Cemetery.
