Sue Burns, 65, of Looneyville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

Survivors include her husband, Alan Burns of Looneyville; son, Terry Burns of Spencer; granddaughter, Tara R. Burns of Spencer; brothers, Larry, Gene and Jack Berkhouse all of Left Hand and Garland Berkhouse of Springsboro, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rome and Hazel Dye Berkhouse; brothers, Bob, Bill, Charles, Jerry and Paul Berkhouse.

Sue was a homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed being outdoors, including flower and vegetable gardening and lawn work. Sue liked watching the small animals, especially rabbits and squirrels that lived around her home. The panda bears she saw on the television were some of her favorite animals. She was a Christian and a member of the Henry’s Fork Baptist Church, Tariff.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 11 at the Henry’s Fork Baptist Church, Tariff, with the Rev. James Hensley officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. The visitation will be one hour before the service.
