Kathleen Ruth Lyons, 73, went home to the Lord on Monday, November 25, 2013 in Barstow, San Bernardino Co., CA.
Kathleen was born September 13, 1940, in Maywood, Los Angeles Co., CA. and was the daughter of Stanley Elmer & Jane Elaine (Stewart) Lyons. She was the oldest of their two children and shared her childhood with her much loved brother Gary William Lyons.
She met Charles Vinsen Brewer and they were married February 14, 1959 in
Torrance, Los Angeles Co., CA. (Must have been that smooth Louisiana accent of his that lulled her). To this marriage three children were born; Ruth Susan, Charles Vinsen, Jr. & Jonathan Wesley Brewer; followed in good time by 10 grandkids and and 7 great grandkids.
She and Charles had elected cremation when that time came in their lives, and his remains will be joined with hers and be interred at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California.
