Mrs. Emma Houseman, 81, of 385 Riverside drive, Chino, died
Wednesday [3 Jan] in a San Bernardino hospital following an
illness of several weeks. A native of Springfield, Ill., Mrs. Houseman had been a resident of Chino 30 years. Her husband, Arthur H., preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Eva Mills, Tipton, Ia., three brothers, Christ H. Stumbaugh, Compton; George Stumbaugh, Los Angeles; James Stumbaugh, Glendale. She was a member of the Baptist church and the Sunset club. Funeral services will be held at the Griffith chapel Sunday, 2 p.m., with Rev. Earle N. Creamer officiating.
Private interment in Pomona cemetery beside the body of her
husband.
