Helen was a registered nurse who graduated from the KW hospital school of nursing.
She was involved in the Baptist church on Benton Street . Shortly after she graduated from nursing she became a missionary for the Baptist church. She never married and dedicated her life to her work in Colombia South America. She was fluent in Spanish. She adopted and mentored a boy she raised in Colombia and brought to Canada. Frank

HELEN Martha Scoble went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Nithview Home in New Hamburg on Tuesday,June 15th,2004. Helen was in her 94th year. Helen was born in Bloomingdale and completed her schooling in Kitchener. She also studied at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She graduated from the K-W School of Nursing. She was co - founder and field director of the Columbia Evangelistic Mission Inc. Along with her co - worker, Mary Mejia, who predeceased her in 1987.
Helen served Aas a missionary for 47 1/2 years. She was a member of First Baptist church in Waterloo.
She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Caroline( Eckstein) Scoble as well as six sisters and a brother. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and her good friend Frank.
Internment to follow service at First Baptist church. Burial to Parkview cemetery, Waterloo
