Theresa Santarelli Burkett

Theresa Santarelli Burkett, 100, lifelong resident of Galveston County, passed from this life, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 9, 2016 six days before her 101st birthday.

Theresa came into this world to proud and loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Santarelli on July 15, 1915.

She was a loving wife to Roby Burkett until his passing in 2009, a faithful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother who will be missed by all. She had a kind and generous spirit which served her family and friends well.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, sister and brother-in -law, Rina and Bill Reid as well as her brother and sister-in-law Frank and Mary Santarelli.

Theresa leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories to her daughters, Lou Patterson and husband Pat and Lana Hegman and husband Vic, grandchildren, Vickie Witt, Debbie Witt-Patterson, Tammie Martelli, Terry Seagroves, Roby Wilson and wife Jeana, Pam Huerta and husband Paul, Victor Hegman, Jr. and wife Christina, Kathy Moody and husband Harold, Debbie Slank and husband Ron. Kelley Oberg and fiancé Matthew Littleton, James Patterson and wife MiMi. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Ashley Witt, Jarrad Moore and wife Chrissy, Kristie Dickins and husband Jerry, Taylor Seagroves, Reese Wilson, Jax Wilson, Madeline Wilson, Madison Huerta and Noah Huerta ,Lola Hegman, Melissa Binnicker and husband Gary, and Joey Martelli; great-great-grandchildren Krislynn Dickens, Sydnie Dickins, Abby Moore, Colton Moore, Nick Binnicker, Destiny Binnicker and Jerry Dickens.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers Rosa, Nellie, Brittney, and Rene for all of their love and support that they gave her. Also special thanks for all at the Hallmark Hospice team for their kindness and care in her time of need.

Pallbearers will be Roby Wilson, Jarrad Moore, Victor Hegman, Jr., Jerry Dickins and Joey Martelli and Reese Wilson.

In her honor there will be a visitation held at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel in Dickinson, Texas Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00pm.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Thursday July 14, 2016 at 10:00am.
