Elsie was born to Robert and Bertha Duncan Davis in Paragould, Ark., Nov. 22, 1924.
She met and then married J.V. Leonard, Dec. 25, 1945 in Lake City, Ark. They moved to the Long Beach area in 1961, then to Exeter in 1996. The couple moved to San Jacinto five years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, J.V. Leonard of San Jacinto, two daughters, Gina Montuoro of San Jacinto and Sandra Brown of Bremerton, Wash., one son, Jim Leonard of Palmdale, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
